“Training was great via zoom. Clare was very engaging and training felt very laid back but I could ask questions when required”

“Clare made it a very interactive training experience and took on board our needs as much as she could in relation to our particular work setting. The break out groups were great and the training was beneficial as well as enjoyable.”

“You are an amazing teacher who has instilled interesting interactions to a group of parents who initially were complete strangers to one another into an enthusiastic and enjoyable group.  I really enjoyed the 4 lessons which I found too short.”

“My home life with my son has improved as he has a way to communicate his needs and I’m able to understand.

“Clare delivered a fantastic 2 hour Makaton refresher course. It was tailor made to our workshops which helped tremendously reinforce the signs we were already using. It was a thoroughly enjoyable 2 hour session. I feel our facilitators are now more confident about the Makaton they are using and have even more signs to enhance the work that we are doing.”

“At KEEN London most of the children we support, our athletes, have autism or learning disabilities. It is invaluable that our volunteer coaches and athletes can communicate in as many ways as possible. Clare taught us not only the main Makaton signs, but the value of Makaton a way of communicating. Whilst it is unlikely all of our three hundred volunteers will become fluent in Makaton, Clare stressed the value in competency of a few core signs. As a result, we pass Clare’s training onto every one of our volunteers to ensure every athlete will be supported by a volunteer competent in basic Makaton.”
